In preparation for National Day's Golden Week for Tourism this year, Pingshan county has developed “Tour the Revered Site with Beautiful Mountains and Rivers in the Golden Autumn”-- a series of activities that will be held at its major scenic sites in early October.

Pingshan county has made elaborate plans for all the tourist activities focused around the National Day Golden Week. Tourists can choose to enjoy an evening party of singing and dancing at the Xibaipo Museum, called “Let’s Meet at Pingshan in the Golden Autumn,” which will be jointly organized by the provincial and the municipal television networks. At Mount Tiangui, tourists can witness “Wudang” martial arts during the day and admire the moon at “Jinding” peak in the evening. At Mount Tuoliang, a campfire barbecue party and a mountain-climbing competition called “Climb the Province's Summit and Walk the Champion’s Road” will take place. The Heart-to-Heart Art Troupe will also perform at Tuoliang. The hot-spring vacation area will introduce the “Romantic Trip” activity series, the first hot-spring Beer Festival, and “Fervor-filled Square” art performances by a well-known art troupe from Beijing. The Chinese date-picking festival there will also bring tourists great delight. In addition, a popular tourist attraction should be “Picking Organic Melons and Fruit in the Golden Autumn,” an event held at East Grand Turtle Park (Dongfang Jugui Park), Undulating Dragon Valley (Gunlonggou), and Yuanfang.
